RUG

This is a department of the Public Registry of Commerce which allows for the record of personal property guarantees (cars, jewelry, furniture, machinery, equipment, etc.) granted by debtors, with the benefits of publicity and effectiveness, allowing creditors to provide better financing conditions.


The purpose of the RUG is to promote the use of personal property as guarantees for small and medium–sized companies obtaining financing under better conditions, thereby encouraging economic investment, growth and competitiveness.
